EVE looks back at a screen from the past as the world moves around her, forgotten. Her little white fingers twist and tangle together as familar music plays, soft music, sweet music, and though her programming does not tell her how to decipher the difference something else inside her understands.
On screen, she moves gracefully, a white flower bud, her lighted eyes in little blue crescents as he stands before her, shy and curious, ever-so-curious, and almost-human. She does not understand, was not programmed to understand, yet a part of her responds, almost-human, or rather, wants to be almost-human. The words themselves are alien to her but

The first fight; every couple has it. It doesn't matter how in love the two are or how well they click. At some point in their lives together, they are going to argue. M-O had heard that a little bit of this was a sign of a relationship being healthy and balanced.

Alternate ending to Wall-E
My ending takes place after Eve rebuilds Wall-E from his spare parts.
Wall-E still doesn’t respond to Eve’s cries and leaves the trailer. Eve is confused at Wall-E’s behavior, she follows him trying to figure out what is going on. She tries every thing, even holding his hand, it doesn’t work and Wall-E turns away and again begins to process trash.
Eve cries softly and floats away.
She doesn’t know what to do, she returns to Wall-E each day but his spirit is not there.
The humans too are heart broken to know that the little robot that restored and returned them to their home didn
